Asif Kapadia, the director of 'Amy,' has said he is "mortified" over the "Ill-judged" sharing of social media posts about the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The Grierson Trust has removed the filmmaker as a patron because of his social media posts.

Whilst we accept that everyone has a legitimate right to express their views on controversial issues, this cannot justify racist statements,’ said the trust.
