Andy Murray says he could not turn down the "unique opportunity" to coach his long-time rival Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open.

Novak Djokovic and new coach Andy Murray have been seen practising together for the first time ahead of the start of the Australian Open on Sunday.

Sir Andy Murray has revealed that his shock invitation to work with Novak Djokovic arrived when he was on the golf course – just as he was telling his playing partner that “I can’t imagine anything worse” than coaching.

The Scot is helping out his former big rival, having previously said he ‘can’t think of anything worse to do right now’ than coaching.
