Somebody goofed — and now AMD’s unannounced Ryzen 9000X3D desktop processors have been partially revealed. But like Intel’s new Arrow Lake desktop CPUs, it doesn’t look like they’ll be a huge performance improvement on their predecessors.

We see that AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D has a base clock of 4.7GHz and hits an all-core boost speed of 5.2GHz. Again, we should underline that we can’t be sure if this is a genuine leak or not.

While not yet released, a benchmark leak suggests the upcoming Ryzen 7 9800X3D will have a big clock speed advantage over its non-X3D counterpart.

Intel even says AMD's 7800X3D will be slightly faster in gaming than its own just-announced Core Ultra 200 series.

AMD launched the Ryzen AI Pro 300 family of processors on Thursday, the business version of the Ryzen AI 300 processors it launched earlier this year.
