A 25-year-old man has died after a car crashed into a crowd of pedestrians on Christmas morning. Aidan Chapman died from injuries on New Year ’s Eve after a driver crashed into four pedestrians on Shaftsbury Avenue just before 12.45am on December 25.

Police say it was an isolated incident and not terror-related. A 30-year-old man was previously charged with four counts of attempted murder and remanded in custody.
