The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in the country from Libya, DAILY POST reports. The players and their officials landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport on Monday night. The contingent were stranded at the Al Abaq Airport in Libya for several hours after arriving in the North African country on Sunday.

In a development eagerly anticipated by Nigerian football fans, the Super Eagles have safely returned from Libya. The team arrived at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport today at approximately 5:48 PM Nigerian time, following a challenging couple of hours in North Africa.

Players and officials of the Nigeria national football team, the Super Eagles, are set to fly back from Libya. This comes after the Libyan government succumbed to pressure from external bodies, to refuel the Super Eagles’ chartered jet and clear their airspace.
