The actor returns to the "Star Trek," reprising her character Philippa Georgiou, who leads the franchise's first television movie now streaming on Paramount+.

Section 31 is a spinoff of the series Star Trek: Discovery but mainly seems designed to exploit the talents of Michelle Yeoh, who, since she created the character of Philippa Georgiou, has added the term "Academy Award winner" to her bio.

Section 31 features a brief appearance from one of Michelle Yeoh's fellow actors from Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
