Devara happens to be Jr NTR’s first film to collect Rs 500 crore at the box office. The buyers (distributors and exhibitors) of Devara: Part 1 have broken even last week and have also entered into the profits zone.

Jr NTR has now shared why the makers decided to remove the song from the movie. As per FPJ, the actor in an interview said, "We felt like the film is travelling and getting serious. In fact, the story takes a serious spin, and we felt a song at that point would break the momentum of the narration."
