Frazer Clarke was sent to hospital in Riyadh with a suspected broken cheekbone after being brutally stopped in the first round by Fabio Wardley on Saturday night

British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley produced one of the performances of the night on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol. Wardley was going head-to-head with Frazer Clarke for a second time in Riyadh after the pair produced a thrilling draw in March.

Clarke, 33, was taken to hospital afterwards and scans showed a broken jaw which caused a dent in the side of his head which came up in pictures after the fight

Immediately after the fight, ringside photos revealed a concerning dent on the side of Clarke's head, raising alarms about the severity of the blow. Medical personnel were quick to respond.
