A major winter blast of snow, ice, wind and plunging temperatures in the U.S. stirred dangerous travel conditions from central and southern states all the way to the East Coast early Monday, prompting several delays and cancellations at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

A winter storm is set to have a major impact on the Philadelphia area and Delaware Valley Monday, with 3-5 inches of snow​ expected in the city and surrounding counties.

Flights in and out of Tampa International on Sunday are being delayed or canceled, following a weekend of winter storms sweeping across the nation.
